Light Up My Garden Hawthorn
7pm-9pm
Friday 23 March 2012

Don't miss this very interesting and informative event
We're all wanting to make the most of our gardens - and
good garden lighting can transform our outdoor spaces into a magical and
wonderful place to spend the evenings.
Garden
lighting adds an exciting new dimension to any garden, and the
delightful garden in Hawthorn of retired engineers John and Margaret
Wilson illustrates several interesting techniques: cleverly
disguised uplighting of an angophora, in-pond lights illuminating a
crepe myrtle, silhouettes created by back-lit shrubberies, and side wash
lighting of the heritage-listed stables.
