The aim of the Botanical Art Group is to foster the
role, and promote the importance of botanical artists and illustration, both
past and present, and provide a forum for those wishing to pursue this
exacting art form.
The Botanical Art group meets on Saturdays from 12noon to 4pm in a Botanic Gardens Studio, with a regular following of 12-15 people
Attend
Saturdays or occasionally or just for Workshops.
To become a member of the Art Group one only has to join the Friends of
the Botanic Gardens of Adelaide.
A small fee
is also charged each Saturday visit for tea/ coffee and
biscuits, and helps towards the purchase of reference books [these can then
be borrowed by members].
Bring your own drawing equipment and something to draw.
